Free Community Bike Jam Planned for Lake Placid
Kick off the Whoop UCI Mountain Bike World Series weekend on Friday, October 3 from 6-7:30p with a FREE Community Bike Jam hosted by Barkeater Trails Alliance in downtown Lake Placid.
This family friendly event will feature a BMX Stunt Show by Montreal based Krusher BMX, live music by FogoAzul and a kids skills park at the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid. Best of all, bike parking will be provided so you can roll in with ease and rack your whip thanks to CycleSafe.
Not only will there be high flying BMX action and good tunes, but attendees will also have a chance to learn about the local bicycling community and meet World Cup athletes all while spending an evening visiting the shops and restaurants in downtown Lake Placid.

PARKING
Free parking will be available in the Lake Placid Central Schools parking lot behind the Olympic Center beginning at 5p. Attendees are encouraged to walk or ride your bike to the Olympic Oval. Bike parking will be provided at the event.
