2025 Event Entertainment Lineup
Love live music? We do too. That's why every larger BikeADK event features incredible sounds from talented bands from throughout the Adirondack region. Check out this season's lineup.
Before we get into the list of bands, here's the most important thing to know: Whether you sign up to participate in the event or not, joining us to listen to the band is always 100% free and open to all. Music and bikes are meant to bring people together. It's how we roll.
And this season, we're super fortunate to have an incredible list of bands joining us for Adirondack Rail Trail Community Day, Ride for the River, the Weekender at Paul Smith's College, Handlebarley Gravel Weekend and Bike the Barns.

Ploughman's Lunch
A self-described Adirondack anything "Dirty Folk Jam" band, Ploughman's Lunch will kick of the event season with a 100% free show on Saturday, June 21 from 4-7p during the Adirondack Rail Trail Community Day event party in Saranac Lake, which will also feature a beer garden by Hex and Hop and Lomelli's taco truck. Also on site will be a number of vendors including Placid Planet Bicycles, High Peaks Cyclery and Silver Birch Cycles with bike demos.
Ploughman's Lunch will also play Bike the Barns on Sunday, September 21st in Westport, which will also feature a beer garden and local vendors with proceeds supporting the local food systems work of Adirondack North Country Association.

Russ Cook
A storyteller at heart, Russ Cook will bring his solo American sound featuring guitar, harmonica and vocals to the Wilmington Town Beach during Ride for the River on Sunday, July 13. Lounge in the shade of this incredible community park, take a dip in the crisp Ausable River, listen to amazing music and know that all of it helps us raise money for the good work of Ausable Freshwater Center.

Reese Fulmer and the Carriage House Band
If you have to pick one event of the summer to catch, this might just be this one as Reese Fulmer and the Carriage House Band plays a completely free live lakeside show on Friday, August 1st to kick off the Weekender at Paul Smith's College.
The 2023 and 2024 Americana Artist of the Year at the Thomas Edison Music Awards, Reese and his band have become one of the fastest-rising groups in upstate NY with expansive live albums highlighting a reputation for compelling performances. With a rotating cast of talented players, a broad and dynamic body of work, and a refusal to set anything in stone, their shows are always fresh, full of joy, and hard to describe. Think Wilco with hints of Prine and Zappa: "smart, emotionally tuned arrangements and a stage presence that balanced earnestness with unpredictability. Their live performance thrives in the liminal space between genres folk, Americana, jazz and the result is a sound that’s complex without being convoluted." - NYS Music
Combine that with a Hex and Hop beer garden and delicious wine offerings from Meadowdale Winery and you've got one heck of a night out in the Adirondacks.

The Midnight Stargazers
The Cosmic Country sounds of The Midnight Stargazers played Ride for the River in 2023. Ever since, riders have been asking when they were coming back. The answer is Sunday, September 14 during the Handlebarley after party at Paradox Brewery in North Hudson.
Cosmic Country is a blend of classic country, country folk and country rock. Meaning, this band draws inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, including plenty of originals and a good dose of covers by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Elvis, Merle Haggard, Neil Young and more.
Sign up for an event (or don't) and join us for a full summer and fall of free live music with a whole lot of friends who love to ride bikes. This is going to be a lot of fun.
